I’m Captain Josh Hudda, owner and operator of Hudda Hoo Sportfishing, based right here in Beaufort, North Carolina. Fishing these waters isn’t just something I do — it’s a way of life built over years of experience running offshore and learning what it takes to consistently put anglers on big fish.

I run a 27’ Sea Hunt center console, a versatile platform that allows me to adapt from nearshore to offshore fishing along the Crystal Coast depending on conditions. My focus is on big game offshore fishing out of Beaufort and Morehead City, targeting wahoo, dolphin (mahi-mahi), tuna, and swordfish when conditions line up. I also work productive offshore structure for grouper and other bottom fish, staying locked in on what’s producing.

Offshore fishing here on the Crystal Coast is all about timing, water movement, and preparation. I’m constantly tracking conditions — water temperature breaks, current edges, and bait activity — to put my clients in the best possible position for success on every trip.
