Day 2 Tournament Report

Although Double B, captained by Matt Daley, remains the overall tournament leader with 2,050 release points, today's biggest story belongs to Baby J and Free Ranger.

Baby J, captained by Patrick Shore, turned in one of the tournament's strongest performances, releasing one blue marlin and six sailfish for 1,300 Day Two points, vaulting into third place overall with 1,600 total points.
Matching that incredible Day Two performance was Free Ranger, captained by Robert Orr. The crew released one blue marlin, three white marlin, and three sailfish for 1,300 points, moving into second place overall with 1,900 total points, just 150 points behind the leaders.
Overall Release Leaderboard
After two days of fishing, the top three boats are:
First Place: Double B – Capt. Matt Daley – 2,050 points
Second Place: Free Ranger – Capt. Robert Orr – 1,900 points
Third Place: Baby J – Capt. Patrick Shore – 1,600 points

With only one day remaining, every release could determine the tournament champion.
The Gamefish Aggregate Division also saw a new leader emerge.

Wound Up, captained by Jeffrey Freeman, now leads with 73.9 pounds, overtaking Day One leader Weldor's Ark.
Second place belongs to Weldor's Ark with 44.4 pounds, followed by In 2 Deep with 40.0 pounds.
The Largest Dolphin Division has a brand-new leader.

El Patron, captained by Parker Lancaster, now sits atop the leaderboard with a 23.7-pound mahi-mahi.
Second place belongs to Inspiration with an 18.1-pound dolphin, while In 2 Deep rounds out the top three with a 17.7-pound fish.

The Lady Angler Division also experienced a major change.

Natalia Frost, fishing aboard Baby J, now leads with 1,150 points, followed by Rachel Kittrell aboard Opportunity with 950 points. Day One leader Erin Flowers aboard Sensation now sits in third place with 400 points.
In the Greenwing Angler Division, Will Harvey aboard Inspiration continues to lead with 950 points. Charlotte Clegg, fishing aboard Barbara B, moves into second with 750 points, while teammate Cohen Hogan holds third with 700 points.

As we head into Championship Saturday, the race for the overall title is far from over. Just one successful blue marlin release could completely reshuffle the standings, and with several teams within striking distance, fans should expect plenty of excitement on the final day.

Crystal Coast Compass will be there from the docks to the scales, bringing you complete coverage, exclusive interviews, and the stories behind the anglers chasing championship glory.

I'm Tuck Corvinus, and this has been your Crystal Coast Compass Day Two Tournament Report.
We'll see you at the scales for Championship Saturday.
